Well, we said it would be live this summer. You could argue it's more like an Indian Summer (which the Met Office very helpfully explains is between 11th November & 20th November!) but we're almost there.
At the moment a handful of agents have access and are using it daily. We then plan to open up to new customers before migrating everybody from Doctor Photo to The Studio.
Here's a reminder of what The Studio is and why this matters:
What is the studio?
- The Studio is our brand new platform, built from years of experience and feedback, replacing doctor-photo-easy.co.uk
- The Studio will be your new home for Doctor Photo edits, Floor Plans, Virtual Furnishing, CGI, Design & DCVR
- It will be the most advanced visual platform for agents in the UK - and probably the world(!) We're pretty sure you'll love it.
What makes the Studio different to the current Doctor Photo platform?
- The Studio is a completely brand new platform and reflects our new DCTR branding. It also includes more visual services & clever tech.
- Many of the services will remain the same. We'll still have a 'Doctor Photo' section which will include Facelifts, Digital Surgery, Virtual Furnishing, Day to Dusks etc.
- However, one of the biggest updates will be the inclusion of AI Facelifts.
- Whilst you will still be able to select to have your photos hand done, we're also giving you the option to have your photos edited by Bob - our AI robot!
- Bob will be able to edit your photos in seconds, rather than hours and you only pay for Bob's edits if you're entirely happy.
What happens to my current Doctor Photo account?
- We are migrating your account with all your photos and details. The only change will be 1) Where you login to and 2) We'll ask you to set a new password. When you login, you will be able to access your old photos etc.
How will I know how to use it?
- The Doctor Photo area will be fairly similar to what we currently have at doctor-photo-easy.co.uk but it will just look more contemporary and have a few more useful functions. We'll be posting how to guides and we'll always be at the end of the phone is you're stuck!
Are you increasing your prices to pay for it?
- Goodness no.
What should I do now?
- No change for current customers now. We'll contact you and automatically re-direct you when the system is ready for you to be onboarded.
