Fairfax Place, Woking

Fairfax Place, Woking

The Challenge

Fairfax Place, Woking is the first phase of Canalside, a 1200-home regeneration development under construction by ThamesWey, a private company owned by Woking Borough Council.

DCTR was invited to create and build the marketing assets to assist in the promotion of the highly specified Fairfax Place apartments that will be available for rent. DCTR was also asked to create the website and brochure for the main Canalside development covering all the other 12 phases. Some of those phases will include homes for sale as well as to rent. The Canalside website is in development in conjunction with our partner, Deuce Creative.

The Solution

To ensure that Fairfax Place appeals to renters in the target market – average age 30, carbon footprint-aware, valuing the developer’s efforts to respect and encourage nature.

To develop a brand identity that also took account of the development’s nod to the Arts and Crafts movement.

To build a mini website showcasing the development.

To create artwork for a brochure that could both be printed and shared online.

To write copy that expressed the core development values and identified the numerous other benefits, including the Rent to Buy scheme.

To enhance room photography by the addition of 3D furnishings.

To develop the architectural plans into a format that visually represents each of the apartments as they appear on each of the five floors.

To produce a location map, showing the proximity of the development to Woking centre.

To enable the developers themselves to update the website with reservations received.

To produce a promotional video for use on the website, in social media and in email.

The Result

The project went live on time and on budget. Our client was delighted with the assets we had created and gave us a well earned 5 star Kefuffle review.
